I stumbled upon some of Independent Charlie Crist‘s Senate campaign ads and they really caught my eye.  Our country is divided and voters, frustrated with the economic situation, are electing candidates on both side of the aisle with little to no experience who are not ready to lead.  Some might call them candidates that stick to principles, I say they are candidates that don’t know that in order for you to get anything done in Washington you must compromise and can’t draw lines in the sand.

Here are the ads

I still think there is still time to convince Americans to think and elect middle of the road candidates this November who will get things done and lead us through these times of economic uncertainty.

I know my friends on both ends of the political spectrum might not like this, but the truth of the matter is that America is not a blue or red country, it’s actually purple.

What do you think? Is the “professional left” and the tea party going to be triumphant this November. Or is there still a chance for our country to come to its senses and for the moderate majority to speak out?? Comment and let me know.

Disclaimer: This is by no means an endorsement of Charlie Crist and I don’t live in Florida.  However, in my opinion, his ads are a beacon of hope in a year where all I see is bickering that will get us nowhere fast.

What a night last night was.  For a while I felt like people were just angry at the Democratic Party, but from the looks of it, it’s really just turning out to be quite a thoughtless annihilation.  Delaware just elected a madwoman, yes I said it! She is totally delusional and even the Republican party leaders do not believe she is electable and question whether they will be investing in that race.

This just makes me wonder… what in the world are people thinking this year???  Republicans knew they were going to pick up this seat, but after last night, even Karl Rove has written it off.  I, however, am not that quick to write her off since she shouldn’t have even won last night!!  I just don’t get what’s going on in the minds of the American electorate.  If people are interested in changing the direction of the country (and the party heading it), please elect viable, qualified, mainstream and logical Republicans?  Republicans that would be more “middle of the road” and in sync with the majority of the electorate?

I really think it’s time for people to wake up and smell the roses.  I’m not saying vote Democratic or Republican, but THINK before you vote.   IF Christine O’Donnell wins in November, she’ll be there for SIX years.  I’m just sayin’…

Please comment and enlighten me!
